Just sent this

Hi there,

Just having a look at your TZR, looks lovely in the white and black and there's not many about now.Out of interest how did you manage to get 45 Bhp out of the 125 lump when a TZR 250 only really got about 45 Bhp? Has it had any special work done on the engine or a modified powerband fitted.

Cheers
Owen

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Buy it on the condition that it is exactly as listed. Rag the arse off it for a week or 2 then take the bike back with a dyno print out showing it's 18bhp.

Peoples estimations creep up over time. I once had someone tell me they had a CBR 400 with 90bhp, that did 160. I asked what the point of a litre bike would be if a 400 could do that, be said a litre bike would do 'bout 220.

So these morons who talk with great authority sometimes get believed by those who don't know better, so it's not always their own fault.

I just wouldn't want a newbie to get ripped off but i guess if they pay £2500 for a TZR then they deserve it Mr. Green

45bhp? that's close to a Honda RS125R GP bike.

I think not somehow.
