Angela Scoular, actress and wife of Leslie Phillips, has been found dead in what appears to have been a suicide.

She must have been feeling absolutely dreadful to have resorted to such a measure.

Sensitive sort of chap, isn't he?
Wonder what the relationship was like when he wasn't dinging her with his dong.

I saw this in the paper today, what a way to go. Got me thinking about exit strategies should the need arise and I decided that Hemlock would be quite fitting. It grows like fuck in an old church yard I look after, you won't involve any one else and you'll still be alright for 'viewing' after.

Harold_Shand's theory might be the best explanation.

Belt and braces approach maybe by her. David Kelly the Iraq weapons expert also went for belt and braces approach. If you want to be sure, why leave the chance open that one suicide method wont work, when you can use two ?

Yes, I have often thought about stuff like this, especially now, after I've lived-in and supported someone with Alzheimers. I think I might just get something written into a living will that if I end up in such a state that I would want to visit Amsterdam or Switzerland for my lethal injection.

Otherwise, something pretty quick and which doesn't hurt in the process between ingestion and dying. Exclamation

You've got a bike. stick it in the room with engine on a fast idle. Or pipe it in from outside. A good bottle of whisky or wine and a DVD of the funniest shit you've got or the best music. Fall asleep and go out easy.

Drinking bleach is plain desperate. Not a good way at all. Bowel cancer has got to be sheer pain.
