Over the past two weeks I have seen at least seven bikes that have been in accidents, Tuesday night on the Bury Bolton Rd a fatality. We see this every year but this year it seems to be a bit higher than normal.
Just an observation, but if you haven't been out for while take it easy, remember cagers haven't seen bikes for a few months and need to get used to seeing them again. Thumbs Up

I'm assuming we are talking about the same road here on the border of Bolton & Bury. But are the accidents happening near the Higher Ainsworth Road and Starling road junction? I've lost count the amount of times people pull out infront of you on there.

Yep mostly down to people getting their bikes out and trying to ride as fast as they were at the end of the summer when the roads weren't green and they had built their skill back up.

Another cold Winter and council cutbacks means road surfaces are a bit crap at the mo. Another thing to factor in if you fancy testing out your rusty skillz.

On a positive note, those desperate for organ transplants are looking forward to the new biking season. Thumbs Up

Let's all take a moment and honour the memory of the shiny wobblers...

In reality, after a fatal bike accident, I doubt many organs will be much good for transplant.

There were a lot of bikes out on Sunday, I was in the car in North Wales and they were everywhere. To be fair most of the riding seemed pretty tame but on muppet in particular nearly plastered himself across my bonnet on the way home through Bridgnorth by overtaking on the brow of a hill across double whites. You can always tell the ones to watch as they're in their brightly coloured gimp suits on a very shiney new sportsbike with a mate most likely on an identical one, first day out since last August and they're trying to compare 'mad skillz' with eachother.
