Just got this bad boy...2010 model, Arrow pipes, bash plate, engine bars, and a few other bits & bobs. Absolutely made up with it. I know there are plenty of bikes quicker, better, etc., etc., but this fella just puts a smile on my face every time I see it, let alone go for a spin.

Pigs in Shite are rarely this happy!

**Edit: It's new to me, not a spanking new piece of kit....I'm no Rothschild!

They changed them in 2009 from doing the two tone jobbies, to just black and the matt green one. That one was all a bit Steve McQueen for me....

It's great up to about 80, 85ish, then you've really got to get your arms tucked in and your head down - but I didn't buy it for that. Blatting around The Chilterns on this is going to be great...

Beautiful! I'd love something like that. Juxtapose to my 636. Because I don't want to go 100mph on my wrists all the time.

Can we have a sound clip of those arrows? Pretty please!

Thanks for all the comments - I'm really pleased it's just taken me two bikes to get to one I'd like to keep for a long time. Great road presence, very relaxed riding style make riding it great. It's quick off the mark and pulls well up to 90ish, I'm told it'll go on to 120, but the wind blast is quite extreme by then!

Great torque and gearing for round town stuff, and just superb for tooling around the lanes round here. It's ideal for me, the SV is fab for belting around long distance, but that was such a small part of my riding.

Some reviews reckon the clutch is heavy, but I've not found that at all. Finish is excellent, and there are so many 'bits' you can add that it should take care of my spare cash for a while!

The bad bits - no centre stand. A lot of chrome. Wheels that take an age to clean. Very soft rear shocks (future upgrade!). Non locking fuel cap (future upgrade!). Quite a firm seat. No weather protection. That high exhaust prevents a neat luggage solution, making it
not great for touring. And you know you've been riding it for more than an hour - the seat is firm, but guess what - future upgrade.

So that's a brief run down of it, best bit for me - got it for under 5k!
