Right, probably getting a Bandit in December. Well 99% sure and have already bought the restrictors as they were cheap Laughing

Basically what exhausts are about? I have seen very few. Not really looking at Akra's and Yoshi's but something a bit more affordable. Found a couple of Scorpions, Beowulfs and Fuels but wondered what is out there for what sort of money. What build quality is like and is it worth going for a full system if its purely for sound?

Also, will putting an exhaust on push me over the 33bhp limit?

Cheers guys Thumbs Up

No, they wont.

I hear good things about Beowulfs (the sound mainly). but scorpion and fuels are decent too, scorpions build quality is pretty good (few friends have had scorpion cans in the past and they're still in good nick)

I've just bought a Venom, but it's still in the shed so i can't really comment yet Smile

I'm on 33bhp too.... I figure it really won't matter what exhaust is fitted when the intake is massively flow restricted in the first place.

An exhaust will not affect your 33bhp restriction. However, also note that the 33bhp won't affect the sound of your exhaust either! Thumbs Up

I had a beowulf black round exhaust for over 2 years on mine, with an without my restrictor kit. it was pure pwnage.

https://www.cjaccessories.co.uk/images/P/beo%20black-02.jpg

Its a brilliant exhaust and sounds awesome. But then someone drove into me and squished it. It looks better in black because the Logo looks neater. I think it looks a tad tacky when the can is silver and the logo black. £155 brand new from beowulf direct.

I then had a BlueFlame evo twin port exhaust

https://img191.imageshack.us/img191/8783/Image00021.jpg

Now this little baby here was a beast! I loved it even more than i did the Beowulf! this is an awesome can but double the price. They go for £300 brand new, but i bought mine second hand from ebay for £80 delivered, in perfect condition. I've noticed a few others go for this price too. I would definitely recommend this. And they are nice an unique with the twin outlets!

Then, I got adventurous, and got this!

https://www.streetfightersbydesign.com/streetweb/banditmania_page/Bandit1200/1200_thp_rhs_rear.jpg

They come as both Hi level ones (pictured) and Low level ones. and are available from Bandit Mania They are made by them and are good quality, and cost about £150 (you'll need your own end cans though

Seriously man, twin pipes are absolutely awesome on a bandit, I would highly reccomend!

I went through several exhausts including blue flame and beauwulf until I settled with the D&D can. Sounds like no other on a bandit Thumbs Up

I had a Scorpion on mine, improved the sound but it wasn't obnoxiously loud (what I wanted). Chopping it down to 10" helped muchly Twisted Evil

Loved the look of the shotgun style exhausts from banditmania but they were too pricey for me.

Happy with my Beowulf. Asked for debadged one with no problems. Wasn't too expensive either, and without baffle its not too noisy. If you want loud, I wouldn't get one.

another vote for Beowulf. I have their oval stubby can with baffle removed.
I really sounds "the dogs danglies" compared to the original can Thumbs Up

That is pure filth! Is that with the turbo on or what?

And what is the exhaust setup? (guessing it will sound different on a 600?)

Maybe. A race can will do very little for power but might give you slightly more which could push you over the 25kW / 33hp limit. However almost certainly so little that it would be within the error margins of what a rear wheel dyno can measure and what the law requires.

Also a good chance it could lose you power.

All the best

Oh right, so you bought it like that? And it sounds incredible but I could easily see how it could get annoying.
