This..whatever it is, belongs to a mate. Left for a couple of years. Was nearly skipped.

New fuel (guesstimated 25:1) airfilter washed and a wipe of the plug..3rd pull, fired.

Is it wrong that i'm looking forward to getting it back to its oriental best?

I don't want to demean myself any further by joining a minmoto forum, so i'm hoping BCF midgets will help me if i get stuck on anything. i.e what chain fits on this? 20/54 sprockets. 330mm center to center.

the chain is probably something like a 420 pitch. Although I'm just guessing. It's what pitbikes tend to run. I would've said minimoto chain, but the sprocket teeth look a bit big for a mini moto chain.

that buffalo looks beast!

I have yet to find anything that inspires any confidence in this bike.
I'll enjoy a few zaps on it and give it back before i break it.

It is a Suzuki GSXR50 / RB50 (depending on market). It needs a hell of a lot of work to sort it out. I have slowly been getting the bits I needs (ie, the swinging arm spindle had snapped Shocked ) and I will sort it out eventually.

Trouble is being a 4 stroke it will be a lot slower than the YSR.

All the best

Keith

My monkeybike went to have its upgraded engine fitted today (as well as some other tinkering ready for the road again). The 110cc 6bhp unit has been ditched for a nice 140cc 17bhp one!

Stock 140s are only actually about 10-12bhp rear wheel figures. However, that'll still see decent speeds. Quite happy with my 110cc in my monkeybike. Laughing
