If you`re going anywhere near the black forrest in the warmer months take bug-repellent, trust me you`ll need it!

Germany and Scotland are two of the most buggy/bitey places i`ve ever been to in my limited travels.

loved them both though Thumbs Up

When in the Black Forest the B500 is a must,I would recomend www.pension-williams.com it is about 5mins from the B500 & is run by an English couple (who just happen to be me & my wife!)

This is a great biking area give it a try

There is a LOT more to the whole area than the B500 - stunning as that road is.

Sooner or later opinions fade and the name on the tank matters not. I think that happens somewhere between 3rd and 4th gear. Enjoy the ride... everything else takes care of itself.

Hey, good map Thumbs Up . Do you have any others (preferably in Southern Germany / Austria)? I am planning a bit of a jaunt down there in early May.

Here you go.. most are working.

The maps themselves are from the german version of the RAC. I used them last year... they're very easy to follow. I found anyway. They are purely for riding though.. might be an idea to get some 'proper maps to use alongside to give you a better overview. They don't show the 'sights' - if that makes sense.

But all the routes are well worth riding.. I wasn't disappointed with any that I followed.

I printed the ones I needed.. and took them with me. Black forest. Austria and the Dolomites. One nice touch is they're nice and simple so not ink 'hungry'
