Cancelling new bike insurance policy

Took out a policy yesterday with swinton, today Carol Nash came back to me with better cover for £200 less.

Can I cancel the swinton cover without having to pay stupid amount in charges?

usually get 14days cooling off, so you would only pay for the days you have been covered for.

I remember before my insurers were absolute tossers, It was only 7 days in and they took £60 off me...

then again that was motorcyle direct which are like the ryan air of insurance brokers.

Swinton courier motorcycle insurance want £18.50 cancellation fee for the policy i arranged yesterday, PLUS they're keeping the non refundable deposit i paid yesterday of £63 still leaves me £90 better off though and means we know who to avoid, Can't believe swinton motorbike insurance stich you up for £81 for arranging insurance 22 hours ago and that they've not even had to send documents out for it.

Try a complaint to the financial ombudsman- unreasonable charges, n' all that.

There's no point to a 14 day cooling off period if it comes with strings attached.
