Is there any reason I cant add something like this Twin 12v socket or would having 2 12v devices charging/powered at the same time do something bad for my battery/bike?

I don't think I'll ever need 2x sockets, but figured that I'd have my phone (which doubles as GPS/Sat-Nav) and then a spare socket incase I buy anything in the future which I want to use at the same time.

Or, would it be best just to go for a single socket?

Both are gonna cost me around £7 in total from ebay so not a major issue, but just wondering if I could get away with the twin socket to give me some play-room.

bike is a 1987 CB125TDE Superdream, just had a new battery and finishing off the engine rebuild (FFS!) once the gaskets turn up tomorrow (hopefully!). Have already planned a few trips in the next few months once the engine has run in 500miles and want to get a socket sorted and tested for then to make sure its running fine.

Cheers.

Should be fine, chargers like that tend to take a fairly small amount of current.

Multiple cable ties to the frame somewhere near the front (will hopefully be able to point it backwards to stop water getting in - although it states it is waterproof). Will be able to update this thread with how I get on once it turns up (will add pics etc) if you want to see how I've done it.
