If it got hit up the back by a car, why are you paying for it?

1: That is not a bike it's a moped
2: Exhaust is not spelled "Exhorst"
3: You will only continue to learn how fucking useless car drivers are. Don't let it put you off biking, let it put you off people.

the bigger question here that i'm surprised no one asked so far is why did you pay over 500 for that moped. Sure you could of got one cheaper somewhere else.

So why would the previous owner spend money on a sporty exhaust for it not to increase the speed?

Moped's are up to 50km/h, thats a scooter

Take the cash and buy another scoot. I wouldn't buy it back and repair it. It will be a money pit.

Listen to this advice. Either take the full whack and replace it with another bike or buy the salvage, sell it on as a cat-c (which will surely net you a healthy profit, then put that money with the payout and buy an even better one. That bike's gonna suck all your money away.

Oh, and bikes are for riding - so don't limit yourself to ones just from your area. Look further afield for better bargains and ride them home.

Karma for the excellent use of the word mongoloid which caused much tea to exit through my nostrils! Laughing

Come on guys easy on the lad! Clearly hes had an accident which is shite, least your getting paid out for it and your ok? I agree with what's been said already, how much have they deducted for you keeping the wreckage?

But to help you out, use the spell check function before you post. Also refrain from claiming 58mph from a moped.... we aren't your college mates or trippin' trev who drives a citroen saxo down the local morrisons garage late on a friday night.

Thumbs Up

If you do a little research, you will see that is how much that particular model is, if anything, 640 was a good price Wink

Thanks - bacon

And yes guys 640pound for 57 plate 9000 miles but at 580 miles it had an engine rebuild and sporty upjetted carb service every 1000 miles full history, i think thats a very good price if im honest.

Pete - i would go far to get one but most come standard and riding 50+ miles is a right hash at 30MPH Razz

thanks guys Smile

Hi

Impact like that looks like it has done a fair bit of damage. I also suspect it wouldn't be financially worthwhile to fix it

All the best

Buy one from Kent/Essex, none of them are standard Laughing

What you could do, albeit illegal.. is buy a road legal 50cc pit bike, what a 125 in there when you are 17.... or maybe just before Wink

You get more clunge this way.

hello.

to be honest i really want to get the bike back on the road we are looking at engines for around 160 pound from haywards motorccycles and that's 57 plate and this bike has been my first bike i don't want to give up on it to be honest, I don't like giving up.

it's such a good looking bike and my parents are pretty strict im already having to sneakily buy a 70cc big bore kit for it without them knowing otherwise they wouldn't be very happy! Wink

thanks
