Hi there

Got a wee problem with my 600 Diversion where the bars get a bit wobbly at anything upwards of about 20, when taking one hand off the bars. It's not so serious that it's unrideable but obviously something's not quite right.

Would appreciate some advice:

1) Is the symptom called 'head shake'?

2) Could the cause be head stock bearings? Had to adjust these at MoT time and, though they adjusted fine to get through the test, they were not in the greatest condition.

Cheers

Bob

I have had this before. my problem was wheel balancing, but i guess it could be tyre pressure or maybe head stock bearings

I know my head bearing need replacing (going in Tuesday) and I also had a very apparent shake with one hand, put it down to bearings, had the tyre changed last week, shake is almost gone, must have been balancing!

As Vincent said check the shape and condition of the rear tyre. Steering head bearings too tight can also low speed weaving.
