Well I am a big fan of Bridgestone tyres, and they recommend BT-45's for it if its an early 16incher.

Look here for the tyre sizes they recommend

BT 45s are good, I use them on my zed (16" front at the mo), good grip, not bad (so far) for wear given what they have to stop and start.

Hi

We have BT45 tyres on the FZ750, and Divvy and the GPZ500. They work quite well.

All the best

Keith

Get the Battlax (BT45) tyres from Bridgestone, I've got them on my GPZ400R and my GPX600R and they grip the road well in the wet and dry.

Odd, I ran 45s on the GPz750 when it was in stock running gear (around 3 years ago granted), good dry, abysmal wet. Tyre compound changed?

I had Metzelers on my GPZ750R/1000RX hybrid - ME33 front, ME99 rear, if I remember correctly. Seemed to do the trick Smile

Funny i'm running with Contimax tyres loads of wet grip and ace in the dry, back wheel does not spin up as well as it used to though Sad Still they seem to wear quite well, and the front is quite planted under harsh braking. I was told they were crap but i've had no problems with them and would buy them again.
