I've got a video that someone has posted me, in MPEG format..
I can't get it to play at all
I've downloaded the latest realplayer, divx (both meant to play MPEG!!) tried windows media player, installed codec updates (that are mean't to support MPEG) but still it won't play...
Also tried another computer with Quicktime and that tried to play it, heard the sound in the background, a bit distorted but no video or anything!!
Any ideas before I go mad? I can't figure out why the fook it won't play despite downloading the correct software? ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

You could check GSpot, which you can run to check what codecs the video file is using in case you don't have them. Other than that, i'm a bit stumped
Hope it helps

Have you got the XviD codec? Similar to DivX (obvioulsy) as it is MPEG4, but you'll need this codec if it was encoded with it ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

Its probably MPEG-2 Codec which isnt included in the latest windows media player or the divx bundles
However u can download it from here:
https://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm
After installing that pack u should be able to play 99% of all movies.
When installing you have to specifically chose that u want to install MPEG-2 codec. I find that 'Elecard / Elecard' works best for me. ____________________ 1991 Suzuki GSF 250 Bandit - 2001 Yamaha YZF R6 - 1998 Suzuki GSF 600 Bandit N |
