I was wondering if anyone knows whether yamaha yz forks (2000 onwards) would fit on my dt 125 re 2004? Im not sure on the measurements, but someone on here will be, Thanks

same reason I put RVF usd's on my NC30, tart factor Laughing


If they're different diameter fork legs/USD forks;

If you can find out what bearings each one takes that'll be a start, if they're the same you'll then need to check the steering stem lengths, if they match you can try it, you'll still have to worry about the steering stops though.

If the fork legs at the yokes are the same diameter you need to check they're the same length, and have the same distance part at the bottom (for the wheel and spacers to fit in)

What do you want the YZ forks for btw? If you find the stock DT forks a bit soft I think you can increase the preload with a couple of 2p coins IIRC I'm sure that's what's been suggested before on DT's but I could be mistaken
