Derbi GPR 50 starting problems

Hi guys, having a little trouble with my Derbi. The electric start is turning over fine but the bike wont fire up. Occasionally it will but most of the time it wont. I have to bump start it nearly every time i turn the engine off and on again.
Any help please?

It starts easy off a bump every time?

If so, is your battery on it's last legs? Enough power to turn over but not enough for a healthy spark maybe?

I agree with the above. If the bike starts ok with a bump start but not on the electric start, then it must be a sluggish battery not spinning the engine over fast enough.

Either that or it's an engine cut-out thing. I.e when you bump start, I bet your side stand is up.

Yeah it bump starts easily but I will check out the battery although I put a new one in last year :/

I had this problem with mine when I got it.

Change the plug. Cures it every time.
