Buy a new battery or a charger?

I have a 2000 CG125(W) And the battery is flat...

Should i buy a new battery or a new charger?, i noticed that a new battery is only a few quid more than a charger, So it it worth it to just buy a new battery?, and do you need to charge a new battery when you buy it?, if you do theres no point and i'll just get a charger.

What Volt is the battery in a 2000 CG125?. Can you suggest a charger?, i know nout about them.

Push start the bike, or kick start it if you have one. Once it's been running for a bit it'll start charging the battery.Take it for a big long ride and see if it will restart. If it doesn't your charging system is fucked. If it restarts right away, but won't start tomorrow then your battery is fucked.

Every bike owner should own a charger, you can pick one up for around £10-15.
