For my Bennetts policy all I had to send was my previous insurance details, policy number, company etc. Should be fine, could always give them a bell and ask.

Scan copy of renewall and email that....

If they are not happy with that then contact last insurer and ask for proof.
There is a letter that they can send out.

Ask your previous insurer for a certificate of proof. Photocopy it or scan it and send to eBike, keep a copy in your file.

According to saynoto0870.com they have a local rate phone number rather than their premium rate, its 01454 634501

However its still probably easier to get Carole Nash to email you a copy of your certificate and forward that on to eBike. Or scan it yourself and forward on Smile

Your old insurer has a legal obligation to provide NCB and any documents on request.

Just call them and explain the situation. Lexham sent me a letter of proof for free after 1 year with MCE. Then fax it or e-mail the copy.

ah mate, i had this exact problem with them just a week ago, bloddy nightmare!!!!

they will want specifically, your insurance certificate, where the ncb MUST be evident!

believe me, i emailed copies of my renewal, policy no. and the devitt no. but yet they refused to do any chasing up. quite ridiculous really.

i only wanted a few months cover, and now thats costing me nearly £100, as i put on my policy i had held my licence for a year, when apparently i was shy of a year by 23 days or something stupid.

BANG! £35 added to my insurance to correct policy...... argh. i guess on that note of filling in the policy, i was partly to blame, but they are SO slow in getting back to you sometimes, it is so unprofessional!

sorry if im having a rant! Evil or Very Mad
