Hi! Since getting a bike i've found out that my Dad used to be full on into bikes and he has given me his ancient old leather jacket from the 70's (complete with studs!) Wink It's awesome and it fits me, problem is the stitching though and the zip wont do up and no pads. Im pretty sure i can repair the zip with oil and lube but the stitching and lack of pads no can do. Question is does anyone know of a place that deals in jacket repair, (this jacket hasnt been worn since 80's!) preferably in the south west??? It would be so cool if i could use his jacket.
Thanks so much! Smile

Might be a bit far but you can post, but I used these

https://www.hill4leather.com/

They took my leather trousers in, overhauled my OH's one piece and did his 'The Dosser' badge for him. They were great, I highly recommend them.[/url]

There is a lady just outside of Reading...someone mentioned she was still in the business of alterations (I'll see if I can find the thread in a search in a moment). Edit: Cathy Streak who lives up in Woodcote in Reading...contact Mr Jamez for her contact details.

Other than that I can second Hill4Leathers over in Ash Vale.

Your other best bet would be to go to a bike rally, most of the bigger ones have people on-site who do alterations / fix patches on etc.
