Morning guys

I was out for a quick whizz about on the bike yesterday evening, and after about 10 mins of riding, I noticed what sounded like a slight backfire/pop from the bike when easing off the accelerator slightly when travelling at around 35-40mph.

It wasn't a massive jerk when it happened or anything, I just thought I heard it whilst riding along.

It only did it maybe a couple of times in the 40 mins or so I was out.

There's no power loss or anything, no smoke from the exhaust and she starts up fine and revs ups fine. It's never done it before last night either.

What do you reckon? Bit of crap passing through the carb maybe?

I was frigging about earlier cleaning up the fuel tank/reserve valve lever and position indicator plate bit (as it wascorroded and impossible to read), so moved it in bewteen positions quite a few times - maybe I dislodged some muck or something?

Probably just a bit of excess fuel being burnt in the exhaust. Nothing to worry about unless it does it loads and causes damage to the exhaust.
