Hi
If it is an early twin headlight bike (ie, really an NSR125RK) then an import would be better than a UK bike as it would not have been restricted when new. Other than the exhaust and intake restriction it should be identical to a UK model bike, but the colour scheme may be different. Panels should still be just as easy to buy new, but maybe more difficult to find 2nd hand.
An NSR125RK UK model engine should be identical to an NSR125RK import (except the bolt in restriction in the intake on the UK model). However, it is a very different engine to the NS125R
All the best

Keith!
Are all the RKs restricted on the exhaust? How so?
Thanks!
