Anyone got one of these bike Sat Navs? I'm considering one either the 220 or the 660 can anyone who has one let me know if they are any good?

Had my 660 for a couple of years and generally pretty happy with it.
Got me around Europe with minimum fuss.

Had a 550 for 3 years and have just upgraded to the 660. Quality piece of kit and has taken me all over the UK, Spain and France.

A lot of riders I've been out with have had the TomTom Rider and when they've seen/used the Zumo they have said it's miles better than the TomTom.

The software on the PC that allows you to plot routes and see where you've been is not the most intuitive, but if you take a look at zumoforums there's a beginners guide. After that it's a walk in the park.

I have it permanently on the bike - it's great as an MP3 player even if not using it for navigation. I don't believe the 220 has the MP3 player built in.

Dae.

Mp3 player definitely a big 'plus' for making long motorway journeys more tolerable for me.

Recently got a 220. Very impressed so far. Came with mount and cables for both bike and car and the software on the pc seems good too. I also bought a cheap Bluetooth helmet comms system from china (via eBay) and the Garmin's voice instructions are very clear.

I agree, but use my iphone through the bluetooth headset instead. (And I couldn't afford the 660 Sad )

It's worth keeping an eye on eBay. I got a Zumo 660 which was direct from Garmin (a refurbished unit but as new and with 12 month warranty and latest maps) for £320.

Got the 550 and have never had any complaints. Mine's wired into my Autocom for optimum mp3-age.

I've used Garmin 550, Tomtom Riders V1 V2 & Urban.

Hardware wise the Garmin certainly has it on reliability reputation.

Software wise I find the stuff loaded on the TT Urban rider better than the Garmin and the earlier riders. Updating is quicker.
