is it possible to haggle a dealer for a new bike? if so then what would be a good price to pay for a nsr 2002?

ps does the nsr 2002 have a fuel gauge cuz i cant see one on it!

Nope, the NSR does not have a fuel guage, you'll need to keep an eye on your trip counter and petrol tank...(please correct me if I'm wrong though!)

As for haggling, well, it would be useful if you had several dealers around you, so you can get a few quotes and make up a few quotes...I managed to get mine for £3500 from Motorcycle City, after I told the sales guy that Fowlers offered me £3600...

Be confident, and try to bring someone with you...

if you are getting it on finance you should be able to get it lower
i got my 2001 in september for £3200 but it took an hours haggling.

Oh yeah, and I've got the Black colour version...it doesn't stand out as much as the tri-colour, but still looks cool...and I personally picture anyone over 18 riding the tri-colour (just a personal opinion! no offence intended! Razz )

Dont think many bikes have fuel guages. Ive only seen them on the Tourers.

The '87 and '88 model Aprilia AF1s had fuel gauges. These used Nippon Seiki clocks which were very similar to those used of Suzukis of about that date. GPX750 and ZZR600 also have fuel gauges, as do the Bandits (at least the 1200s)
