THAT much bad Karma in one day of joining? Impressive!

Edit: From one post! Is this a new record?

A more friendly introduction would have gone down a bit better, without the youtube link.

In any case: Welcome to BCF

Why try to ride and talk?
IMO you don't do it very well. You get surprised by a white van as you are gesturing with your 'spare hand'. Razz
You lose the ability to string a sentence together as your brain is busy trying to do other things.

Apart from that, Hello.

Firstly, welcome to the forum.

Secondly, it's seems this is what BCF does now?

A person comes on, funnily enough a legitimate biker, who takes his time to do vlogging on his motorcycle and wants to share it with us and it's even a small channel so it's not just spam.

Rather than posting saying you like his videos and welcome to the forum, you decide to just spam him with negative karma like he has come on and tried to sell us crap biking products?

I think that is completely wrong and what he did warrants no negative karma at all, especially not "SPAM" as it's not spam at all, let me show you what SPAM is:

S - Stupid
P - Pointless
A - Annoying
M - Message

His post was an introduction and he was trying to share his vlogging channel with you for your enjoyment, he didn't beg for subscribers or anything like that but you jumped on him like a punch of dogs on a hare.

Fucking ridiculous and I think that's a horrible welcome to the forum, the people that gave him negative karma need to grow up and stop throwing negative karma on anyone that posts a bloody URL, especially the ones that just see a post with red karma and just decided to give it negative karma anyway, jumping on the bandwagon.

Stupid, there is no need for it and that's probably a genuine biker wanting to share something with us who won't come back, vloggers are fantastic members and you've probably sent him away.

Cheers, tools.

Paulington, I know he's a legit biker, but he didn't follow the BCF introduction rules. You're supposed to roll your trouser leg up, guffaw heartily at the umpteenth post of nobcat that week, and post some random non-munter or ultra gross out porn in the random NSFW thread. Female introductions should obviously be the mandatory Tits, lest they GTFO.

How can he be a member of our elitist little club if he don't follow the rules?

Seriously tho, you lurk in ANY interwebz forum first. You figure out who the nutcases are (BCF, oh all of em) and what the general tone of the place is. BCF is highly irreverent, but it doesn't take too long to figure out that the merest whiff of chopped pork, even if only imaginary on the members olfactory schnozzle organs, results in the harshest response.

Barging into BCF with a formal introduction to any website on a first post is like going to a Pikey council estate of inbred retards and saying "Hello, like my shiney new bike". Expect the "You ain't from round 'ere..." hostile response, because BCF is the inbred Pikey council estate of bike forums. That's why we come here Mr. Green Wink

Hi guy, sorry to have pissed you all off. But that was the point, I'm currently doing a series of video's on how much I and other people hate spammers and wanted to show an example of it. This post and account will be deleted shortly. Sorry to have wasted your time when you've clicked on this, it was just to show the feeling others have around spamming.

1. We'll live.
2. So will he.
3. Next just come right out with it and ask the n00b if you can give him a BJ instead of all the faux outrage, eh?

Nope, spam is "a blatant piece of unsolicited commercial advertising, similar to what you would term junk mail."

Do I think this deserved Spam ratings? No - I think he should have been given the benefit of the doubt.
Could someone reasonably think it fits the description above - well, yes. People can make decent money from youtube once they have a good number of subscribers. While it's not a particularly slick operation in this case, it's quite reasonable to think he may be trying to do it for commercial advertising reasons.

Solution? Well, I've always considered it rather rude for your first post to be trying to promote your own 'thing', so he could have just got to know people first.

Claims that it's all about the spamming? CBA to watch his 'vlog' about it, but quite amusing anyway. (Who will 'delete' his account, I wonder?)

[edit]Listened to a bit of his 'spamming' video, tl;dl (seriously, I'm not understanding the idea of blogging while riding a bike unless it's specifically about the ride), but more amusing:
Quote:
I like everyone else hate SPAMMERS.

Please rate, comment, and SUBSCRIBE - Click the link for my CHANNEL - https://www.youtube.com/user/chessecake94?feature=mhee

So, he hates spammers, then straight away uses the opportunity to promote himself? Thinking

I gave him a thumbs up because he is just a 17 year old lad trying to get into a community. Obviously he has no experience in that. But he'll learn Smile

To the op: You need to improve your riding skills before doing this kind of video stuff. You just can't concentrate on your riding while talking.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBpM8-4KQeM#t=1m05s

This road positioning is just dangerous.

You might start learning road positioning by watching this video:

Good luck.

Edit: The rider is Phil Curtis. (RIP)

I object to the signature more than the text of the original post. Also the way he puts MOTOVLOG in capitals makes it sound like a product rather than some sort of dull craze for videoing ones own rides...

What, follow the bandwagon like the rest of BCF? The idea of a forum is to express an opinoin and chat about why yours differs.. reckon danny was ok to post up, and be different. Thumbs Up

Take Bazza's post, he's clearly been a here a while and seen the same stuff repetitively for years (old man Wink) and the rest follow the same sort of bandwagon; if you don't fit in, feck off. The point of this place is that we are all different and that's what makes it work.

Phillip DeFranco is a famous Vlogger; this guys hardly at that stage and won't reach it preaching to BCF!!

No I actually meant dannyp929 is a cock so if he has an opinion it is more than likely bollocks.

Anyway, OP, hi, do you want to try again? Your second post was too cunning to be understood.
