Hi all

I am getting back into riding after a few years absence and need to get a new bike for commuting.

I'm after a supermoto type bike up to 700cc (ish) for a 20 min A road/dual carriageway/city blast. Was thinking of a KTM Duke 690 type of bike

Any great ideas on what i should be looking at??

If your after a supermoto type bike there is:

Honda FMX650
CCM R30
Suzuki DRZ400
KTM Duke
Aprilia Dorsoduro (sp)
Aprilia Pegaso Strada

Thats a few off the top of my head, but there are loads and loads out there, hope this helps

I have never ridden one myself as i dont have a license yet Shocked

However from a friend "good for a ride on the twistys, not much fun on the motorways etc due to naff all wind protection"

he chopped it in because he does a lot of commuting on long straight bits, he has a VFR800 now Wink
