As Bendy said in IRC get some posts up on other forums, maybe offer local kids a reward if they find out where it is, you might come across one that has a grudge against the person that has it.

Grrr this sort of thing drives me nuts, why can't people just leave other peoples possessions alone!

At least you have a good base for retrieval considering every Ride reader would of seen your bike. Lets hope the poilice do the job right and get it back. Praying

Yeah I thought when I read it Poppy's engine had given up.

I hope you get her back, she is very distinctive not the sort of bike you would forget seeing.

If anyone's a member of any forums, mailing lists or anything where there could be people in the Reading area, could you post the details of Laura's bike please - the more eyes we have looking the more chance there is of finding it.

Was on driveway or parked on the road, not in a garage. Laura has TPFT but I guess it's a matter of working out if financially it is better to claim and have no NCB again.

Have posted up about it on some other message borads, anyone who has any other bike based message boards they use it would be a good help to Laura if you can post a copy of Laura's post about it in there. Thumbs Up

Hopefully was just kids and it'll turn up soon, and hopefully they'll hurt themselves and damage their burberry stuff. Twisted Evil

Don't ring the insurance just yet. My dad got his car stolen and we thought that was the end of it then it turned up about a week and a half later. Don't give up just yet, and keep an eye on classifieds/auctions both close and further afield. As long as you got the police involved and the word about hopefully it will turn up and only be stolen by some bored drunken teenagers rather than professional thieves.

Thats a really nice bike, I hope you catch the fucker. If you do, you should brand "I was own3d by bikechatforums.com" onto his forehead with a red hot poker.

Good luck, I doubt I will see it in the North East but will keep an eye out all the same.
