Honda XR 125 L-3 broken... again

Another problem with my bike :/
Today i noticed that my bike wasn't pulling quite as well as it usually does, but i put this down to a soft tyre and head wind
so i stopped at my garage, blew the tyres up and carried on. still wasnt pulling, so i kept thinking it was just the wind.
then, my gears changes started going weird, when i let the throttle off the revs stayed high for a few seconds longer than they should do. so i got a little confused. i pulled over and revved the engine to see if they did it at a standstill or if i was just doing sloppy gear changes. the revs still stayed high :/ and there was also a buzzing sound coming from my exhaust pipe, i dont know what on earths going on but it isnt making me happy Sad

if anybody could please help me out i would be really really grateful
does it mean that i need a new exhaust system?

CHeck the exhaust for holes, also when the engine is running spray WD40 around the intake to see if the revs change.

right, ive checked the exhaust, no sign of any holes, although the welds didnt look too great but i think thats just cos theres a few spits of rain on them. i worked out what the buzzing noise is, its the heat shield vibrating, so i dont think thats the problem. maybe a fuel problem? could the throttle be jammed slightly open? it idles fine as long as you dont rev it.
any ideas?
