New paintjob weekend

I had mucho fun this weekend stripping the fairing and tank off and slapping on a lick of paint. The old 2000 finish is now a spanky 2001

The reason for this adventure was to cover up the damage I did a couple months ago, the left hand side had quite a few ugly marks. I damaged the tank the other week while fiting a scottolier, so that had a respray aswell.

The damage has almost gone, unless you inspect it right up, it looks spot on so I'm well chuffed.

It's looking absolutely gorgeous (I always liked the 2001 finish). All thats left are the decals form ebay.

I'll post some pics as soon as the weather is better to leave the cover off for long enough!
