The choke on my bike is in the off position when it is pushed down. For some reason it's been nudging itselt about a quarter of the way up to on recently. Is this fixable, and if so how? Thanks.

There's no lock/screw thing anywhere, I've followed the choke cable from the front and down.

Just been told there's a lock at the engine end, underneath the engine... now if only i can just get underneath that engine...

Mine never used to stay up. it would pull itself back down within about 10 seconds. I had to stuff my leather key ring inder the lip of it which held it up. Mine would come back up slightly so like 1mm from all the way down I assumed that little bit was just slack on the cable and ignored it.

on some choke cables you can turn a plastic ring where the inner cable goes into the outer. Its more than a dust cap.
