As my bike is to be ridden, not looked at, I'm making a serious of comfort changes starting with reshaping and reforming my seat.

I know what i need to do to it based on my butt, but just wondering where I can buy good quality foam.

I'm looking for a high quality closed cell foam, for the main base, then some decent open cell stuff for the comfy cushioning.

There's a guy down my local market, but the foam there isn't great.

Where do you buy yours?

Oh also where do you buy the vinyl used for seat covering?

I previously went to a local soft furnishings shop (Calico in City Road, Cardiff) where they sell various materials and a selection of different density foams Thumbs Up
(I'm not sure if they'd ever had a biker in there, but they were more than happy to help me out with some well-informed suggestions.)

I cut up a camping (aka exercise aka yoga) ground mat for a closed cell core. Dunno what your quality criteria are, but the price (cheapest from eBay) was negligible compared to buying specific upholstery foam.
