Bike looks tidy and the feedback suggests a genuine seller. I'd still advise looking at the bike in the flesh if you can though.

im only 16 at the mo, but me and dad were looking at prices of bikes and we could get that gs500, the restriction kit, insurance and my A2 bike license for the price of a ybr125 down at bridge. he has a cg i can use to get through the test, do you think a gs might be too big a jump from a 50cc ?

I don't know because that all depends on the rider. I'd say not but then I don't really believe in self-imposed limitations. Some will say you need to cut your teeth on a 125 for awhile first and their opinion is just as valid.

I think only you can know whether it's going to be too much too soon.

As for a GS specifically, they're a well respected first bike and are supposed to be easy to live with.

i consider myself a cautious rider, i have full leathers (Dont wear the trousers on my 50cc) i just dont know if the extra power could be dangerous

looks like a good tidy unmolested example,
it even has the rear fender in tact, which is normally the first thing that goes,

50 - 500 sounds like a big jump but if you spend a bit of time on a 125 getting used to the gears then the 500 should be fine

it'll just feel like you have a load more torque,

as long as you arn't ham fisted and your old man trusts you enough to get one, then i don't really see a problem, they are good solid work horses that do what they say on the tin,

i'd spend some money on some crash bars/ engine guards, when you crash (not if) they'll save you a pant load of money

go for gold mate Thumbs Up

I dont think the power is your main problem, the bigger problem is the other road users, my advice would be get some road experience under your belt whether its on a 50 or a 125 it doesnt matter.
