https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AKITO-MIAMI-MAX-MOTORCYCLE-MOTORBIKE-BOOT-SIZE-9-J-S-/120645622262?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Boots&hash=item1c170a19f6

Very close to buying them, but would like some opinions first, do these look ok to go with the rest of my beginner kit? Enough protection?
Thanks

Akito have been around for years, and are definately at the cheap and cheerful end of the spectrum. However, at that price if you get a years good use out of them it is a bargain.

Lots of people slate Akito stuff because its cheap but I have a jacket thats been alive for about 15 years and if it wasnt for the fact I've expanded too much to do it up comfortably I'd still be wearing it.

For the price I would say yes. As said earlier. If you only get 1 years good use out of them its still worth it.

Think about it this way. You could spend £250 for Sidi top of the range biker boots and get 3 years out of them if you wear them every day while on the bike or you could buy a pair of them every year and still make a saving in comparison.

Whilst all my other Akito gear has been of good quality, the Akito boots I bought rapidly fell apart, not sure if that was just the specific model of boot or their boots in general.
