Hi Guys,

I'm looking for some brake pads for my NSR 125 as I think it could benefit from new ones. I'm currently on WeMoto and I'm seeing the following;

Pads Front EBC Sintered (HH Type)
Pads Front EBC Standard (GG Type)
Pads Front Kyoto Standard (GG Type)
Pads Front Lucas TRW Organic Standard (GG Type)
Pads Front Vesrah Green (GG Type)

Needless to say, I've no idea about any of these and whether or not they're decent, or what the difference is. So, can anyone tell me which are the best from the list, or your own recommendations. Karma

Thank You

Anthony

Hello

HH and GG refer to the level of the pads compound and subsequently their stopping ability, for example HH are usually the grabbiest pads but (IMO) tend to work more effectively on faster/larger bikes or track bikes.

GG are much better as an all rounder on the road (IMHO) they are less likely to scare you when it's wet/raining. iirc some people reccomend using HH on the front and GG on the rear. I don't think the opposite way round is particularly reccomended.

I would personally use the GG type pads in a 125. I would also say I have had good experience with any EBC pads.

All the best
Mike

HH will give better stopping power but will wear your disk faster due to a more aggressive compound.

Sticking to a quality brand is more importent, I've got the standard EBC's in my 250 at the moment and it stops just fine,

Thanks guys, I had no idea which I needed there, but will get EBC and give 'em a try.

Appreciate it!
