Hello i have an 05 CBR 125. I ride some of my journey through country lanes at 1am and there are no road lights.

The CBR's headlights dont seem to light up very much at all and pressing the full beam button just seems to change the light pattern on the road. It doesnt light any further ahead or make the bulbs brighter.

Is there a cost effective and quick way to make the headligh brighter?

i have to ride so slow to see where im going and its getting quite dangerous beacuse cars overtake me in the dark and never leave enough space.

Thanks for the help.

Look around the net for a new bulb. Honda's stock bulb is crap!

I have an XR125 and i still haven't got round to changing the bulb but it's terrible.

Look around on eBay etc you'll find one Thumbs Up

i found one

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XENON-CBR125-BA-20-BRIGHT-WHITE-HALOGEN-BLUE-BULB-/270768099405?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3f0b09504d

but is it going to make that much difference?

its so poor. I expected it to be as bright as a cars headlights, it does have 2 bulbs but its not. its not even as bright as one headlight and these are new replacement bulbs.

i think my maglite tourch would be more powerful.

That looks right.

Make sure that it isn't TOO bright though Smile

Contact the seller (i see there is a mobile number) and ask what he wants to sell it for as undoubtedly you want it ASAP.

They are the exact bulbs i use. Are amazing compared to stock.

Also, try taking your headlight unit off the bike and cleaning the inside of the headlight. Will most probably have dust on it. I once had a moth inside mine and it ruined my headlight until i worked out how to clean it out.
