This may sound strange but as a complete novice rider and wishing to avoid a spill if at all possible. How would I know when I am pushing the limits of physics.

Now you may find this funny but I am a large chap 16 stone on a rather small for my size cg125, I am unsure sometimes as to what sensations are normal and what sensations are trying to warn me that I'm about to come off.
I am at the point in my riding where I am unsure as to if I have reached the bikes limits or if lack of confidence is causing me to hold back.
Any ideas descriptions of feelings sensations to look out for.
cheers

When your grinding pegs on a CG it's as far as it will lean over, my mate who is 20 stone does it freqently with his CG when we are out riding, quite funny to watch. Laughing My advice would be to just keep building up speed gradually around corners you know and as you get more comfortable doing it your confidence will rise Thumbs Up

Good luck, and safe riding!

yeah you should be able to , just dont go mad Razz
i had this same prob a while back were i took a corner to wide and clipped the cirb and it threw me off, my legs were all cut and quite bad grazes to my arms, i never really like right-hand bends after that, but the more i road it the confidence came back, im not the smallest person in the world (6"4) and im no light weight either, so i know were your coming from, as badlydamaged said aslong as you keep the speed up gradually around corners, you should be fine, try to familiarize yourself with certain roads and youl be fine Razz
