...has brought a few folk out hasn't it? There weren't many when I went to work at 7am, but there were loads on my way home between about half five and six. All sizes and shapes. I was surprised until I realised it was Sunday...

Lots of acknowlegements too, which is always nice. I've got Tuesday off. Might have to make a special effort to have a "proper" ride [/list]

Saw quite a few today. couple guys nearly hit me, overtaking at a set of traffic lights as i was waiting to turn right.

Didn't manage to get out on the vroom bikes today, but pedalled to the shop, had to restrain myself from waving at a chap on a GS. Smoooooth.

Today had me out... epic ride

Although, i started in textiles, ended in jeans and a leather jacket with no gloves, was utterly baking, jacket is so damp it had to go in the wash, registered 30 degrees here

Bring on the rain and cold; less cops looking for an easy pull, less holiday traffic on the motorways, less kids running around not in school, less pikeys scoping the area for shiny bikes to nick and best of all, I don't end up as a boil in a bag ball of sweat.

Couldn't be arsed to get up early enough to avoid the traffic.

After about 10 all the roads would have been crawling with dozy drivers, heros on thous, and police.

5-6 in the morning on a Sunday FTW. Or after about 8, but there are normally tonnes of flies out at this point so you need to clean your visor every 3 yards.
