Getting rid of the TT600 in favour of a GSX600f, saw it today, decent condition - better than the TT, with the same milage.

Just with losing my job and with the one i'm hopefully starting within a week, it'll be a 100 mile a day commute.

Anyway, anything i should know about them? never really looked into them much.

Please leave the 'bland', 'boring' and 'shitslow' comments out. i know it is, it's why it's a commuter hack

Cheers

Is that a shadow or crack next to the head lamp? I like it. Think if the 750 motor has the same stroke it should fit straight in. Plenty around and cheap. Dont go into corners to hard as the suspension is quite soft. Never looked into mine to see if it could be stiffend up. You should never run out of fuel as the guage is massive, Im sure it should be on a cruse ship.

It's a crack but it's just aesthetic damage.

Not too fussy about changing the engine, think i'll just ride it as it is and mod it up over winter. stick a shock out of something sporty in it, K&N filters, jets to suit, 750 back end, find some better brakes, braided lines and all that jazz...

Then the front end, maybe a nice round 7" headlight, mini indys, clip ons or renthals... decent tyres....

Should be a nice wee machine once i'm finishe with it. by that time i'll have the money for a 2nd bike so this will be my fun bike after i've played with it.

Such a lovely frame under those plastics.

Oh, and i'll be getting a Koso DB-01. this is the first bike i've ever had that's got a fuel guage.

I'll not be looking for one till later on this year so he can have that Laughing

I might pop up at some point in the next week if you fancy a wee run. quite fancy seeing how it's coming along, seeing what shocks he's got in that i could fit.

PM'd you my number anyway, gimme a shout whenever you fancy popping up.

Gonna see if he's got a bandit 12 shock, they apparently go right on and might improve the handling a bit, and maybe see about a 35mm jack-up kit... Mr. Green

Only real weak(ish) point can be the carbs and general finish.

Both easily sorted, carbs just need to have a service and the finish can be looked after.

Incidentally, as with other Suzukis of the era they share a great deal of parts. That engine is basically a lightly modified Oilcooled GSXR750 motor and is pretty much the motor that went into the Bandit 600.

( GSXR1100 engine will fit right in *wink* )
