They have no idea just how lucky they are that we've changed a fair bit in the last 150 years. Back then we'd have just shot a few to make a point then enslaved the lot of them Laughing

Most South american tribes were decimated by smallpoxs and other euopean viruses and bacteria till they gained a natrual restance to them over time, the same fate could happen to theses people.

(not smallpox of course as that was wiped out during the 70,s apart from weapon grade stocks held by varouis states.)

Only because we are no longer exposed to it like our ancestors and have lost our natural resistance, though the vaccine was easy to produce and is what wiped it out.

That was however in the days before air travel when the chain of contact from one person to another in the world was very long if it existed at all. These days those guys will occasionally meet other natives who occasionally meet others who somewhere down the chain will meet europeans. So it might be a chain through 20 people to one of us but it's easily travelled by desease and viruses. So i'd say they were immune to the common stuff.

Not sure I believe it or not.
Very interesting though!

The bit with the mirror cracks me up.

The tribe people are looking at it, then quickly looking away.
The first thing that popped into my head was a caption along the lines of:

"Hmm, what's this? HOLY FUCK IM BLACK!!!" Laughing

Yeah the mirror thing is hilarious, love how he covers it up with a leaf. I bet he thought the white guy had imprisoned some guy in there Laughing
Imagine if you'd never seen a reflection of yourself, then someone shows you 20-30 years into your life, would be mad Shocked

It's a shame really because they've just completely blown their minds and yet most likely ruined their lives at the same time. I bet three weeks after this video they were wearing Adidas t-shirts, crocs and jogging pants.

It's not fake, but it is old. From the late 70s if I recall correctly.

I could tell it was old, the black fellas were using bow and arrows.

Nab on a serious note, yeah after seeing the Slr, I kinda realised it was an old docu, along with the head gear thing.
