Okay, my bike has developed an alarming whirring noise. it is there on idle, but very quiet and when i revv, coming back down the rpm's its whirring. im not sure why this has started happening, and i doubt its anything massive as the engine still works perfectly fine, and the clutch works well too. it developed the fault today, but yesterday 2 screws came out of my clutch side casing, and when i pulled the clutch it was moving away from the engine, i bolted it back on and it worked fine, but today this noise has occured, il pop the casing off tommorow and have a look inside, but any ideas of what this could be from?
Thanks for reading
Matt

Sounds like you have a main bearing on the way out. Take both engine covers off and see how much the crank moves up and down. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
