So i've had 6 bikes, and that's now 3 that have been nicked.

Great!

Got CCTV, police know where they've been ragging it round and she said they've been all over them, with the CCTV..... to get an ID on the scrotes....

The guy across the road came home and checked it for us, got some footage of them taking it (uploading to youtube just now), and got a description of them.

Let's see how this plays out...

Don't want it back after hearing how they were ragging it, and with an £850 excess on the insurance, not much point claiming.

So this is gonna be (another) knock on the chin for me, and i'll be bikeless for a while.

Good thing is that i start my new job tomorrow. great pay for me, so i'll be able to afford something nice next. don't know what to go for but it's gonna be big, fast, gorgeous, obnoxiously loud....
and it'll have an epic alarm and chain on it.

Dunc

They stole a gold teapot? Just goes to show that the average crim has an amazingly low IQ! Wink

Seriously though I hope it works out well for you. Sad

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

FFS mate, you have worse luck than me! Sad
Hopefully for once the police will come through and actually do something about them!
Without sounding nasty, i would like to see the CCTV upload.

don't know the technicalities of it, but suspect cctv on youtube is a bad idea from a making something stick perspective.

Just a bit pissed that i needed it for work tomorrow, and now i have to leave an hour and a half earlier to get there on time. that's what i got this fucking bike for, and it's gone.

Like I said on FB, unlucky mate.

You have some seriously bad luck.
Have all your bikes been taken from the same place?

Just about to watch the video just now.

Bloody hell, how easy is it to hot wire a bike?

Did you not have a chain? Sad

In this day and age a chain is a minimum my man.

It was in next to my girlfriend's house, between 2 houses. it's fenced off along the path where the bike was, so it's just sitting in the corner there.

CCTV was the neighbour across the road.

Dude I'm so sorry this has happened to you. You don't need a chain - you need a Thundercat. Panthro running behind you to keep an eye on your bike, that would do.

You need to set up a sting operation right there. Something tempting for your local chavs to nick and a f*ckload of your mates to "catch them in the act".

Gutted, makes me glad I upped sticks and moved to the arse end of nowhere really, whilst the chavy kids may still be little pricks, at least they seem to appreciate other peoples property (Or understand that they will get their heads kicked in if they touch it).

In my opinion bikes should be equipped with remote BOMBS.
After a few incidents, the media will over do it.

Would be a much better deterrent than chains

Even better, electrified chains so when they try to cut the bugger they get blasted back 10 feet

It can't technically be used from an uploading without everyone in appearances permission. I'm guessing that won't happen...

6 inch nails through a base ball bat to be introduced to the next cunt touches my bike Thumbs Up

sorry man you really got fucked over by these cunts front n rear disk locks are the best protection....any one with a van would have it no matter what but disk lock are a lot more work than a chain to remove. another good tip my uncle uses is a hidden kill switch under the seat ....his bike got hot wired but they couldnt work out why it wouldnt start lol his whole ignition was fucked but at least they couldnt make off with the bike

just a few things you might want to try as there seem to be a lot of scum where you live
