Which SV do you prefer? The ice blue version or metallic blue version? Also, to rim tape or not to rim tape? You either love it or hate it, personally I love it! Opinions please, thanks Cool

Have you ridden an SV1000?

I prefered the 650 to the thou.

The top one belongs to me.

I've since taken the tape off, it was annoying me.

Not exactly the best audio quality but gives some idea.. Sounds a ton better in person to be honest.

Grey seems a bit bland imo.

Never riden the 1000, but i had the older curved SV 6 - Loved it, but - Im to tall for it, constant cramp.

I owned the curvey 650 for 9 years. I was too lanky for it in all honesty, but back to topic, I prefer it in silver or red. Thumbs Up

How tall are/were you both? I'm 6', could this be a problem?

I'm 5'10 and my legs ache after around 80-90 miles. Neutral

I'm only 5ft 8" but have long arms and inside leg of 35" - but to be fair to the sv, as I said above I owned and rode for 9 years. It was only when my damage got worse (wear and tear) that I decided to give it up. Going for a more upright bike next year with a longer distance from peg to seat. Thumbs Up
