Lucky for us this wonderfull country offers a diverse range of roads, some impecably maintained highways, some which would be the sort of thing a joke shop might sell if they sold roads, imagine driveing 50 tanks over your patio and then throw some rocks on that kind of thing...

Now depending on where you live and where you go to and from what roads do you spend most time on? i mean it makes a BIG difference to what kind of bike would suit best (pose value and cost aside) or does it? do you think your bike suits what you use it for 90% of the time?

The follwing are assumeing your bike is your main way of geting from place to place... choose whats closest to your regular route.

To go pritty much anywhere i either have to or can go a country roads route, i allmost allways do unless i'm in a propper rush or its REALLY icy. I ride a cx500b, it is ok, not perfect but it wouldn't be fun if it was glideing through ever corner with no input required Wink

I'm off to the north of scotland this weekend for some C-class road action Very Happy.

I will probably do more miles on A roads getting there but they are the means to an end. This is why I normally ride a supermoto...but I will be going on a GPZ500s because the MZ is STILL in the garage waiting on someone bothering their arse to fix it after eight weeks Mad

Country Roads - Live just outside the New Forest. Since I got a bike I really started to appreciate the area!

I don't really like Single Carridgeway 'A' roads, especially if they're not flat! My 4-Stroke 125 isn't quite upto getting the speed up, which leads car drivers behind to be stupid and use me as target practice!

Far prefer Dual Carridgeways, as at least they can overtake safely (and on occasion, I can also overtake safely Very Happy)

Mostly B roads and country roads, then A road, then motorways.

Really does depend where you live and where you work as to what roads you use the most.
