First day working in a factory ever. And it is the most monotonous thing I bave ever done.

The repetitiveness of the job, lack of any intellect in the place, it is just depressing.

How do people do this for years?
Why the hell would anyone want to come over to this country and do this?

Damn I just want to find a quiet corner and kill myself it is that god damn boring.

If its boring, try drinking before work.

If thats still boring, build a set of wings from cardboard boxes and try flying from the roof.

Signed up for a factory job when I left school just until I started college. I lasted a week. 12 hour night shifts.

It wasn't even the work that I couldn't stick as my job was pretty decent, not too monotonous; It was the idiots I had to work with. I'm certain their collective IQ hovered around room temperature. That. and the fact that you couldn't find a complete, unchipped, unrotten, straight white tooth between them, I decided to quit, mid job. Fook that.

Never been in a factory since.

I do know a guy that works in a factory and loves it. All he does is folds plastic bags and stacks them all day long. He said he would be a happy man if he could do that for the rest of his life. To each their own I guess.

Could be worse, your Employer could of gone bust today like ours!!! (Southern Cross Healthcare) luckily for us tho, our landlord is currently negotiating a new Healthcare provider or will be running it independently himself.

However for the other staff and residents in smaller Southern Cross homes, the future is uncertain.

So don't moan about your job. And if its so shit, do some training to go and persue a career you actually want to do.

I work for southern Crap as a Care Assistant, while i finish my Nurse training.
