Anyone know if these are a standard thread?

The fazer has been missing a left one since I got, didn't think anything of it till I accidentally touched the right one down on the way to work this morning (new bars obviously a bit confidence inspiring!)

I'm now incredibly paranoid about catching the bloody centre stand (I don't know why, just one of those stupid fears you get).

No one seems to list blobs on their own for a fazer, and I don't really want to spend £20 on a new peg for no reason.

Also, what are they actually called (as in what to look for to bring them up in web searches).

Why not just take the other one off.

I'd expect the pegs proper to touch before the centrestand. Certainly is the case with the CBR6. Ground the pegs to atoms on that thing. Laughing

Most I have seen are a standard M6 thread, if you take the other one out and measure the width of the bolt you can tell, you would expect it to be 6mm wide.

To make your own you need a short bit of threaded bar (or cut the head off of a bolt) and an acorn nut. If you want them longer then a longer bolt bit and a few standard full nuts to slip on before the acorn nut. Or, if you aren't fussy about looks then just screw a bolt into it (my brother is currently rocking the hex head hero blobs Thumbs Up).


Everyone just calls them hero blobs AFAIK.
