|
|
I have my direct access test again in a couple of weeks. I have been riding a Honda Varadero 125 for nearly a year now and if I pass my test I will be looking for a 500/600
I don't mind if it is not a sportsbike as it is going to be used for commuting and long rides with a pillion of a weekend.
I was wondering if anyone could let me know what 500/600 I could get for £1500 - £2000.
Much appreciated

You should be able to pick up something like a CB500, ER5, Bandit 600, Hornet 600 for that much. For long trips you will find it nicer if you get something with a fairing as it stops lots of the wind. |

People generally ask about 10% more than they expect to get to allow room for people to haggle. Ad Trader and eBay are also worth a look around. Bike prices will go down after summer has finished (although not sure it's started yet:lol:). Could also look at GS500's but I'd much prefer an ER5 or CB500 to one. |
