i was travelling home today from work on the A127 and i came up to that half around'about bit and its a 40mph coming up to it and i normally remember but i was just in my own little bubble not thinking but the i see the yellow box of death in the corner of my eye . i see im going 60 and with only 10 or less meters to go i slam on my brakes locking up the back wheel (didnt mean for that) and frount wheel was screeching and i was looking back for the flash but phew i didnt go off i consider myself luck i allready have 3 points and im on my CBT and that could have been my licence gone :/

You can have up to 12 points on a CBT.

You can have up to 12 points on a CBT.


its 6 points for the first 3 years or if your under 21 or somthing like that i know it aint 12 points tho it was on my theiroy test

Meh, as far as I'm aware it's 6 points within two years of passing your first entitlement leads to your license being revoked and you then have to retake your test. Since you don't have any entitlements yet you have the full 12 points to play with.

No bro thats if you pass your driving test. Provisonal is different. 12 points for a totting up offense.

Incorrect.

You haven't passed a test yet, on a provisional you can get 12pts before a ban.

No because that's just daft. You'd be banned if you got even one more point once you'd passed your test.

whats with the fake quote ?

and well im glad that its 12 points on cbt even tho im doing mod 2 soon so then it will be back to 9 points which sucks i dont like all these points systems they make it to confusing , and also trying my best to keep a clean licence since my dream bike is an R1 and hope to own one one day

No, it's still 6 points. So if you get 3 more points you'll get revoked. It's not difficult.

In fairness I've done the same at the same camera's, the A127 is so boring it is all too easy to zone out.

As much as the powers that be may disagree, I find I ride much safer if I ride faster and filter through moving traffic than if I stick with the cars. I tend to be more on the ball.
