Hi, my names Steve and ive recently bought a bike, and im wondering wats the best sort of alarm system for a bike?
were can i get one from and what is the sort of price range of these?
or does anyone have one for sale

You can get alarms from about £50 up to £400 or so.
It really all depends what you want from it. Cheaper ones are usually easier for thieves to deactivate, so you pays your money and you takes your choice really.
An approved alarm system will get you a small insurance discount.
Best thing is to get on google and ebay, have a look at what's out there and see what you can get for your money.  |

Give your insurance a call, see what alarms could get you a discount and then have a look for one in the shops or on the net, datatool are market leaders i think but they come at a price for top end models

thanks guys, yeah basicly want a motion sensor, or a imobliser i suspect the imbolaiser would be more expencive (just a guess, as i dont no)

yeah well mainly to stop my bike being robbed by little pricks from the rough side of town.
not really botherd about insurance, just want to keep my nice new shiny bike
