Yesterday I started work for the first time in 4months.
Apart from incredebly boring I have no problem with the work since it is bringing in money, which I desperately need.
I one problem I have is, my foot keeps swelling up. for the past 2 nights now it had been a balloon, and I really need to get it back to normal.
I am standing around for 8hours each day. Which never used to bother me before when getting back into work after mashing it.
Last night when I got to bed, I had it lifted up on the end to try get it to go down, but all today it has been throbbing and throwing shooting pains up my calf, and causing some rather embarrassing falls, when all the muscles in the leg just lock up and send me to the floor.
Is there any exercise that will help it?
At every possible opertunity, I have been giving it a wiggle which helps. The problem only comes when a machine breaks down and i'm left standing there for about half hour whilst it is sorted out, the foot goes red hot then locks up, and after that the cramps start coming.
We aren't allowed to walk around since the line 'could' start working any second. So it is motionless until it starts again.
I do have a meeting tomorrow with the manager about my hands, and working on the tables, so would it be advisable to tell her about this, and get some leway, to got for a walk round the factory every half hour, to get it working again? |
