Well, thats one of the most incomprehensible things i've ever had the pain of reading.

What you have is a Moped. By law it is restricted to 28 MPH. Assuming that you have a full motorcycle licence you CAN remove the restrictors but you would have to re-register it as a motorcycle and possibly submit it for testing at a VOSA center.

Assuming that you dont care about that particular part of the law (Not many people do) you can derestrict it by removing a washer in the variator. HOWEVER, dont expect it to do more then about 35. Its a 20 year old moped, not a speed machine. That engine will NEVER get it to do 50 let alone 60-70 (Well, it might if you spent a lot of money and time tuning it but you would wreck it very quickly). You would have to change the engine to get it to do any sort of decent speed and then your talking a lot of work just to get it to fit. If you were to get it fitted and riding straight then your trying to get a machine designed to do 28mph to go more then 50, this means that the wheels are too small, the tyres are underrated, the breaks aren't good enough and a few other things. This makes for a pretty dangerous machine that I certainly wouldn't want to be riding.

For the work that it would need to get it there its not worth the money or the time. Flog it and buy a two stroke 125 if you want to do that sort of speed.

Right, first things first. PLEASE START USING PUNCTUATION. Its rather difficult to read your posts without it.

As I said, if your really intent on fitting a bigger engine your going to have to up rate a few things:

Tyres
Nuts and bolts
Strengthen the frame
Wheel bearings
Fork internals
Suspension
Breaks

You will need to put support bars and struts throughout the frame and across the step through part in order to strengthen it up.

Of course, if you put a bigger engine in it, you have to re-register it and get it into the right tax class. This will probably mean submitting it to VOSA for testing and probably putting it through an IVA (£450).

If you chose to go through with it, good luck and I hope you dont die. But the last guy I know to put a big engine (600cc) in a 50 (Derbi Senda) Died going around a corner on his 4th ride. Small bikes aren't made to take big engines and I really dont see the point.

Good luck anyway.

I once put a 125 lifan pitbike engine into a c50. it did indeed go much better.

However, doing 60+ on something designed to go 30 is sketchy to say the least.
