This morning I got on my bike as usual to go to work, the ride was going really good until I pulled into the works car park and nearly ran over an elderly gent lying in the road. jumping off my bike first thought was heart attack but it soon became obvious he had taken a nasty fall with blood every where. but this is not what is interesting.

5 vehicles came in to the car park whilst I was attending this man and waiting for an ambulance

4 vehicles of the 5 drove straight past

The one vehicle that stopped to see if we needed any further help
guess what was another biker.

Well done mate who ever you were! Thumbs Up

That's terrible that only 1 out of 5 stopped.

Was the old guy ok?

the old guy turned out ok had to be kept in for several hours and stitchs to his head wound, broken nose severe cuts and grazes to one arm and minor grazes to one leg.
twenty years younger and he would probably have just got back up?

turns out he is a cleaner for our dealership and his boss came in to thank me same morning.
some people had already driven past hime before I got there

Pootling home on the M4 tonight, some bloke whizzed past me at over a ton. He then slowed down for the traffic, so I passed him as I filtered.

Next thing, he goes whizzing past on my inside, back wheel wobbling a bit.

A mile down the road I saw him pull on to the hard shoulder, so I pulled up alongside him.

He'd noticed his wobble and was a bit worried.

We gave the bike a look over, shrugged our shoulders and carried on.

It's always nice to stop, even if you can't help, although the other day I stopped for a bloke who was having a piss over the armco Embarassed

It does make you wonder sometimes, surely most people would stop if not just if you need them to call an ambulance. Eh?

I was giving the NSR a push, and a bloke on an elderly VFR stopped for me and asked if i was ok (I was at this point Smile ), but it was nice for him to have stopped Smile.

Literally the next day I helped a dude give a TL1000 a bump start Very Happy .
I have been known to stop for other bikers fanatically, occasionally bothering guys who just want to take a phone call, but occasionally I am a welome sight Smile .

No. Most people will happily gawp, but wont stop and offer assistance. It's human nature.

Laughing Sadly true, but it's crap because those people would expect/hope you to stop for them. Rolling Eyes
