Hi,
Was wondering if anyone had tried this, or have seen them before?
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Car-Auto-H1-25-LED-SMD-Bulb-Head-Light-Lamp-12V-White-/220813801322?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item336987376a
I was after something simmilar to this to put in some spot light for the front of the bike. At the mo the headlight is of typical '90s small Honda design, its shite! I have several spot lights, 2 of which i was going to mount on the front. The standard H1 bulbs draw way to much power, so im thinking those LED ones will give off a decent amount of light while keeping power drain down? A normal H1 bulb pulls about 4a irrc, apparently these LED ones are 350mA. Im a bit cautious as they are coming from Hong Kong ____________________ Eat well, poo hard

Just found this:

Not sure how much I believe the video mind, looks like the LED shots have been over exposed, when you compare the luminosity of the sky and the illuminated sign in the distance.
Can't be long now before decent quality bulbs are available mainstream surely.
Every LED I've purchased on ebay has been disappointing. I think the highest power LEDs available now are about 20W and they're just a matrix of the 2W surface mountable LEDs. |
